About Geeta, the person behind Shalom Shekinah Counseling

My passion is to help people find wholeness in their identity, empowering them to stand firmly in the authority given to them by God. I do this by standing alongside them in their emotional journeys, listening deeply, and speaking truth into their lives—all in dependence on the Holy Spirit.

I combine my academic knowledge with profound spiritual insights and years of practical experience.

My personal story

In my own life, I have experienced the power of God’s presence in my healing process. I previously underwent secular therapies for trauma in my own life and learned to live with these issues, yet the pain was still occasionally triggered.

At YWAM, I discovered that restoration and healing with God not only goes deeper but also result in lasting recovery when processing trauma and pain. Walking with Him, I uncovered the roots of my pain, my unhealthy patterns, and why I felt intimidated by some people. God gave me insight into events I didn’t even remember and showed me which events were still impacting my life. Through Him, I am now completely set free.

I have written down my personal experience of true, lasting wholeness in God’s presence under the title Who Do You Say I Am.

In addition to my work as a counselor, I use my creativity to process my own issues or to develop prophecies received for others. Below are a few photos of my own artwork.

Who am I

“Who am I” reflects my own struggle to discover my true identity, caught between the multitude of opinions from others and God’s definitive perspective on who I am.

Connected hearts

This piece represents the connection between hearts and the duality of joy and the painful absence of a loved one.

New life

This artwork is a prophetic depiction of what God spoke for 2023: new perspectives, breakthroughs, and flourishing.
